Abstract
PURPOSE: To generate a large amount of methane gas by raising temperature in a methane gas generating tank through the convection operation of a slanting heat pipe by providing the heat pipe to the side part of the methane gas generating tank, and by sticking a solar heat absorbing plate to one end outside of the tank and a radiation plate to the other end inside of the tank.
CONSTITUTION: Solar heat directly strikes a solar-heat absorbing plate 15 provided around a methane gas generating tank 1. Then, the solar heat heats the part A of a heat pipe through the plate 15 and is radiated at the part B by passing through the inside of the heat pipe, raising the temperature of water in the tank 1 through a radiation plate 16. As the sum sets and the ambient temperature falls to lower the temperature in the tank 1 below the ambient temperature, convection from the part B to the part A is stopped because the part B is above the part A, and consequently the conduction of heat from the part B to the part A is not performed, so that the temperature in the tank 1 never falls.
