Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a magnet of a desired shape by a method wherein small columnar magnets with a fixed crosssection or granulated magnets are bound within a fixed area to form an integral magnet package and, into their gaps, magnets or small magnetic particles are diffused and a bonding agent is filled. CONSTITUTION:Small cylindrical magnets 2 with an almost circular crosssection, small magnets 4 and 14 with different diameters but the same shape as magnets 2, and small magnets 3 with a quadrangular pyramid shape of an almost rectangular corsssection are fastened tight with a tightening steel belt 6 to form a hexahedron magnet 1. Next, a bonding agent 7 including magnetic particles is filled into spaces constituted by these magnets 2, 3, 4 and 14 to fix every magnet. This bonding aent 7 is produced by mixing small magnetic particle or grains with rubber and plastics and also mixing fibre chips to enhance a bonding strength. With this process, a magnet of any desired shape can be formed, and furthermore deformation to another shape can be implanted, if needed, after disassembling.
