Abstract
PURPOSE:To give fade-out effect to a reproducing signal, by gradually lowering a recording level when a part before a specified time from a tape end is automatically detected or when manual operation is made. CONSTITUTION:When a magnet 10 is rotated with the revolution of a tape supply reel, a relay 11 is intermitted. The said intermittent period is inversely proportional to a rotating speed of reel, i.e. residual amount of tape reel. A saw- tooth wave voltage is produced across a capacitor 16 with the intermission of the relay, and a DC voltage depending on the residual amount of tape is obtained across a capacitor 21. Thus, the base potential of a transistor (TR) 24 is set so that the TR24 is inoperative near the end of tape, or a manual switch 23 can be made for inoperative action directly. The base potential of a TR32 is changed with a time constant of a capacitor 26 through the interruption of the TR24, the impedance of the TR32 is changed and a signal path can be faded out.
