Abstract
PURPOSE: To let solar energy which is incident to a hollow part of a wall of a room to contribute to room heating by constructing an external wall of a room to have a double structure having the hollow part inside.
CONSTITUTION: Hollow part is made between inner walls 1, 2. An opening 5, 6 for air passage are provided on the upper and lowr part of the inner wall 1 and a fan 7 is mounted on one of them for circulating air of a room 4 through the hollow 3. An electric heater 8 is provided on the fan 7. When heating the room, the fan 7 is operated by a signal from heat detectors 9, 10. If the temperature of the hollow is higher than a set temperature of the room and the temperature of the hollow is higher than the lowest set temperature for driving the fan, the fan 7 is driven. And if solar rays are weak and the temperature of the hollow 3 is lower than the temperature for activating the heating body, the heating body 8 is turned on.
