CONSTITUTION:An ROM13 and an RAM14 are connected through a common bus 12 to a microprocessor 11 constituting a data processing system, also to the common bus 12, a keyboard controlling circuit 15, a printer controlling circuit 17 and a display controlling circuit 18 are connected, and a data is processed between the respective input/output terminals. On this existing ROM13, the second ROM19 is provided, a program for diagnosing a system is stored in this ROM19, and a function for starting the diagnosis is provided to a function key of the keyboard 15.
