Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of an abnormal temperature detecting cable and to improve the detecting sensitivity by increasing the inductance of the cable by manufacturing the abnormal temperature detecting cable in accordance with a method in which a single or a pair of conductive members are wound on a strip of a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The Curie point of a strip-shaped magnetic member 11 which is formed by a flexible amorphous magnetic material of a high magnetic permeability is set at the lower limit of a specified abnormal temperature. A pair of conductive members 12 and 13 are wound around the strip-shaped magnetic member 11 to form an abnormal temperature detecting cable. The use of an amorphous material for the strip-shaped magnetic member 11 allows the magnetic permeability thereof to increase. The inductance of the cable can be increased owing to winding the conductive members 12 and 13 around the magnetic member 11.
