Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the reflection of raw material water on the inside circumferential surface of a rotator and decrease the disturbance of liquid flow in the rotator owing to the raw material water supplied by defining the direction of a feed nozzle in a manner as to assume a sharp angle to tangent at the point of collision of the raw material water against the inside circumferential surface of the rotator.
CONSTITUTION: An ejecting pipe 7 communicated and secured with and to the top end of a main pipe 2 is provided with an arc part 7a projecting in the rotating direction of a rotator 1. The length of the arc part 7a is so determined that the tangent of the tubular axis 7b of the arc part at the opening end thereof assumes a sharp angle θ to the tangent of the inside circumference of the rotator at the point where said tangent intersects with the inside circumference of the rotator 1. The injection of raw material liquid is accomplished in the direction assuming a sharp angle to the tangent at the point of collision against the rotator 1 and since said angle is small, the intensity of injection is high, and in case when it reflects on the inside circumferential surface of the rotator, the angle of said reflection is small with correspondingly longer distance from the point where the reflection occured up to the opening in the bottom end of the rotator 1, thereby decreasing the rate of falling of the liquid by the reflection. Since the injected water has velocity in the rotating direction, the relative velocity with the liquid in the rotator is low and the turbulence of the liquid flow is small.
