Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a cartridge of a high generation power, by arranging arm rods, where a stylus is fitted to the tip, fitted between pole pieces, which gnerate a DC magnetic field, on the record surface and by fixing moving coils to rods. CONSTITUTION:A fitting base 13 is provided in a shell 11 having a connector part 12. Pole pieces 21 and 21' are fitted together with a permanent magnet 22 to the fitting base 13, and a DC magnetic field is generated at tip parts of pieces 21 and 21'. A stylus 17 is fitted to the top of an arm 16 of an approximately reverse V form fitted to the fitting base 13. Rods 18 and 18' forming the arm 16 are arranged at an inclination of about 45 deg. to a record surface 19, and moving coils 20 and 20' are fixed to rods, and coils 20 and 20' are arranged between pieces 21 and 21'. A string 23 consisting of a narrow metallic wire is stretched between the root part of the stylus 17 and a supporting base 25 in the connector side to prevent rods 18 and 18' from moving in the direction of an arrow X. By this constitution, the movement of the stylus 17 is transferred to coils 20 and 20' directly to obtain a high generation power.
