Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption, by cutting off the power source of a frequency synthesizer part, which is used by service channels, at a call channel waiting time in the ratio equipment of a mobile radiotelephone or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch 71 is made, a control part 5 is operated to set the call channel PCH at waiting state. Under this state, a power supply controlling circuit 51 cuts off the power to a transmitting part 4 and a frequency synthesizer PLL part 69 and supplies the power to a multiplier 62. A local oscillation switch 68 applies the output of the multiplier 62 to a receiving part mixer 32. Then, the frequency of the PCH is so set that the multiplied wave of a reference oscillator 61 is the local oscillation frequency. During PCH waiting, when a call is sent from the base station, a called mobile equipment stops the operation of the multiplier 62 by the circuit 51 immediately and operates the PLL part 69 and the tranmitting part 4 and switches the switch 68 to the PLL part side and enters into the call state with a service channel designated by the base station. After the service, the circuit 51 stops operations of the PLL part and the transmission part by hook-down and switches the switch 68 to the multiplier side, and the device is reset to the PCH waiting state.
