Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of input terminals of a main control circuit by exercising on-off control over the operation by various operation mode circuits through the main control circuit by reference control signals and their combined control signals. CONSTITUTION:Various operation mode circuits incorporated in a tape recorder body are brought under on-off control through a main control circuit by reference control signals inputted from operation switches 21-23 and their combined control signals. For example, a main operation mode circuit consisting of a recording/regenerative amplifying circuit system 17 and a tape driving motor forward/backward turning circuit system 17 is connected to the output side of the main control circuit 20 composed of an LSI, and touch switches 21a-23b for operation shown in a figure are provided at input terminals T1-T3 of the main control circuit 20. Then, reference control signals are set for respective stop, recording and playback operation modes respectively, and two out of three reference control signals are used in combination as combined control signals for rewind and fast-forward operation modes.
