Abstract
PURPOSE: To coat with fats and oils of high viscosities without irregular coating by moving a substrate in the direction at a right angle to its revolving shaft while revolving the same, and bringing a belt stuck with a coating agent into contact therewith relatively at an equal speed.
CONSTITUTION: A slider 1 moving linearly along a guide bar 2 is moved by means of an air cylinder 3. The slider 1 is provided with a chuck for clamping a part W as the substrate, and is connected to the shaft of a gear 5. A pinion 6, meshed with a rack 8, revolves together with the movement of the slider 1, and revolves the chuck 4 by means of the gears 7, 5. A belt 9 supported by pulleys 10W13 is stuck with the coating agent of high viscosity supplied from a nozzle part 19 to uniform thickness by feed rollers 18W15, and is brought into contact with the substrate W held and rotated at the chuck end, whereby said substrate is coated. Despite the difference in the outside diameter of the substrate, the coating is made possible by controlling the moving speed of the belt.
