Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of gas recovery efficiency and purity by installing open/close valves in the pipings of a target device for supplying/discharging gas, gas feeding device and gas discharge device and also providing a compressor in the piping connecting the gas discharge device and gas feeding device. CONSTITUTION:To feed nitrogen gas to the target device 6 for supplying/discharging gas, open the switch valves 9, 18 keeping the valves 8, 11, 14 closed and operate the vacuum pump 16 to discharge the air in the device 6 outward. Then, the valves 11, 14, 18 are closed while the valves 8, 9 are opened and nitrogen is supplied into the device 6 from the feeding chamber 1. To recover nitrogen from the device 6, close the valves 8, 11, 18 and open the valves 9, 14 then the nitrogen flows out from the device 6 into the discharge chamber 12 and recovered. Nitrogen recovered in the discharge chamber 12 is pressurised by a compressor 20 and sent into the feeding chamber 1.
