Abstract

PURPOSE: To average the quantity of discharge of a refining furnace, by detecting the weight of a reservoir pan whenever charging to a weighing pan is halted, deriving the inflow to the reservoir pan per a unit time, calculating a deviation against a set value, and controlling a tilting device of the refining furnace in accordance with the deviation.
CONSTITUTION: A weighing machine 8 is provided on a reservoir pan 4, weight of the reservoir pan in the tilt charging halt period is measured continuously, and is inputted to a computer 11 through an A/D converter 9. On the other hand, inflow of the reservoir pan, which has been set to a setting device 10 is also inputted to the computer 11 from the converter 9, the computer 11 starts its operation by a reset completion signal of the reservoir pan 4, and sends a signal according to a deviation between the actual inflow to the reservoir 4 and the set inflow, to a speed command amplifier 14 through a correcting device 13 by an A/D converter 12. Subsequently, the amplifier 14 receives a speed feedback signal of a rotation speed detecting machine 17 of a DC motor 16 for tilting rotation of a refining furnace 1, detects a rotation speed of the motor 16, sends an acceleration or deceleration signal until attaining to a speed corresponding to a speed command signal inputted from the computer 11, to an electric power supply part 15 of the motor 16, varies DC voltage, and increases or decreases a rotation speed of the motor 16.
