Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sleeve roll free from generation of shrinkage cavity defects by melt-sticking a high chromium material, an intermediate layer and a spheroidal graphite steel material respectively having specific compositions as an outside shell, an intermediate layer and an inside shell into one body and specifying the hardness of the outside shell. CONSTITUTION:The high Cr material consisting of 2.0-3.2 C, 0.5-1.5 Si, 0.5- 1.5 Mn, <=0.1 P, <=0.1 S, 0.8-2.5 Ni, 1.0-2.5 Cr, 0.5-2.0 Mo by weight % and the balance Fe is used as the outside shell. The steel consisting of 1.3-2.5 C, 0.2-2.0 Si, 0.3-2.0 Mn,<=0.1 P, <=0.1 S, 0.2-2.5 Ni, 0.5-9.0 Cr, <=1.5 Mo, and the balance Fe is used as the intermediate layer. The spheroidal graphite steel material consisting of 1.0-2.0 C, 0.6-3.0 Si, 0.2-1.0 Mn, <=0.1 F, <=0.1 Si, 0.1- 1.0 Ni, 0.3-2.0 Cr, 0.1-1.0 Mo, and the balance Fe is used as the inside shell, and these are melt-stuck to one body, so that the hardness of the hard outside shell has 65-80Hs.
