Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the best control characteristics by exercising focusing control by a holding mechanism which guides an objective lens in an optical-axis direction while exercising tracking control and time-axis correcting control by supporting the objective lens by a spherical bearing and an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:When tracking control currents flow through movable coils 4a and 4b, the coils 4a and 4b are applied with force as shown by an arrow A by magnetic fields produced by magnetic circuits 6a and 6b. Since a lens barrel 2 is held elastically at an optical-axis position by a spherical bearing 11 and a rubber film 14, the lens barrel 2 oscillates around a center 0 as shown by an arrow A to exercise tracking control. When time-axis correcting currents flow through the coils 5a and 5b, the lens barrel 2 oscillates as shown by an arrow B by the magnetic forces of the magnetic circuits 6c and 6d to exercise time-axis correcting control. When a focusing current flows through a movable coil 16, the lens barrel 2 and the outer ring 13 of the spherical bearing 11 move as shown by an arrow C through a magnetic circuit 17, thereby performing focusing circuit. Thus, the best control characteristics are obtd.
