Abstract
PURPOSE:To exercise focusing and tracking control with less control electric power by fixing a balance weight and a condenser lens at both ends of an arm supported by a gimbals, and causing unbalancing from a balancing point by the repulsive force of a separately provided magnet. CONSTITUTION:An arm 34 close to a rigid body is supported by a gimbals 33 having a 3 degree of freedom; a condenser lens 25 and movable permanent magnets 30 and 31 are provided at one end of the arm 34, and a balance weight 34 is equipped at the other end. On the magnetic pole surface of a yoke 45, permanent magnets 35 and 36 directed in such a way that they cause repulsion for the permanent magnets 30 and 31 are stuck. The arm 34 becomes stationary where they are balanced. Focusing control is performed by moving said balancing point by a control coil 29 wound around the yoke 45. Tracking control, on the other hand, is exercised by applying electromagnetic force to a permanent magnet 37 in the arm 34 by flowing a control current through a coil 40 wound around a yoke 44.
