Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to inject a trace of sample and to prevent mixing of air in the sample, by controlling suction quantity of the sample by seven-way valve and also washing the tip end of suction needle by washing piping.
CONSTITUTION: Seven-way valve 1 is provided with the seven ports 1aW1g, and the sample conduit pipe 8, coil sample supporting tube 12, syringe conduit pipe for sample suction 13, solvent conduit pipe 17 and column conduit pipe 20 are attached to said ports. By said construction, the sample is sucked and held in the middle of the pipe 12 and at the same time, solvent is sucked up in the conduit pipe 25' by controlling the control apparatus 15 in accordance with the quantity of the sample and operating the syringe 14. In such a condition, the sample is pushed by the solvent and is injected to the separation column 21 by rotating the valve in the valve 1 and communicating the ports 1d, 1e. As a result, a flat suction liquid face is formed at the tip end of the suction needle 7. Hereby, a trace of sample can be injected and mixing of air can be prevented.
