Abstract

PURPOSE: To conduct operations ranging from water supply for the bath to water heating for eliminating temperature differences between upper and lower water layers in the bath while saving energy, by a method wherein the bathtub is automatically supplied with water up to a desired water level and thereafter the water is automatically heated to a predetermined temperature by a burner while being stirred by a water stirrer.

CONSTITUTION: To make a bath, a double-pole switch 15 is closed to generate a predetermined voltage on the secondary side of a transformer 16, whereby the voltage is applied to a solenoid 21 through the contact points 19, 20 of a switch 4, and a solenoid clock 10 is opened to supply water to the bathtub 1. When a rise of the water level in the bathtub 1 moves a float 5 upwards to cause a magnet 6 to actuate the switch 4, thereby making the contact points 19, 22 conductive, the cock 10 is closed and a voltage is impressed on a thermo circuit 23. At this time, since the temperature of a thermistor 3 is low, a contact 24 is closed, the stirrer 8 is operated by a motor 9 and combustion is started by a burner controller 27. Thereafter, when a desired water temperature is attained, the motor 9 and the burner controller 27 are stopped.
