Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the displacements of a striplike material based on tension fluctuations and prevent its contact with nozzles by zigzag disposing the nozzle pairs consisting of an upper and lower nozzles in a manner that the conveying path assumes a wave shape, and floating and supporting the striplike material by means of the respective nozzle pairs. CONSTITUTION:Nozzle pairs A, B are formed by nozzles 10, 10 opposing to each other by way of a striplike material, for example, a film W. The nozzle 10 have ejection ports 11 consisting of a pair of slits facing mutually inward on both sides thereof, and eject the pressure fluid supplied to the nozzle boxes 12 from the ejection ports 11 to float and support the film W. Every other nozzle pairs A or B are positioned lower than the other nozzle pairs B or A, whereby the conveying path P formed by the respective nozzle pairs A, B is waved. Namely, the film W is conveyed in a wavelike manner by regulating the position of the film by means of the respective nozzle pairs A, B.
