Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable controlling of a distance from the front end of a seat cushion to a pedal operating position according to a length of a driver's leg under his knee by adjusting only a height of the front end of the seat cushion. CONSTITUTION:When a handle 27 is turned upward, an end part of a lever 25 is turned downward about a pin 22a so that a connetion hook 26 is released from a pin 23a of a link 16. Thereby, a pin 23 can be shifted along a transverse hole 20 and links 15, 16 are allowed to be turned. Associated with pulling up the front part of the seat cushion, the links 15, 16 are turned in the upright direction and a movable frame 12 is elevated with respect to a pivot disposed at the rear of the cushion so that a height of the front part of the cushion can be adjusted. In association with said elevation, the pin 23a is joined with the connection hook of the lever restored in a parallel state by a compression force of a return spring 28.
