Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform a three dimensional profile working of both male and female models by using either one of the male and female models by a method wherein a Z shaft direction feeding of a tracer head and a Z shaft direction feeding of a tool main shaft can be changed-over with each other synchronously in the same direction or a reverse direction.
CONSTITUTION: When a female type working is performed by means of a male type model M, a Z shaft driving direction switching switch 80Z of a driving direction change-over switch 80 is changed-over to a reverse direction and thereafter, a tracer 52 is made to contact with the model M to perform a working. The tracer 52 is displaced to a slope direction of the model M, and in accordance with the displacement, the displacement signal is sent to a control device 78 and it is compared with a defined reference degree displacement quantity of a reference variation quantity adjustment device 76 and each of feeding servo motors 24, 26, 28 is driven so as to coincide both quantity values with each other. At this time, since each of Z shaft feeding servo motors 48, 28 of the tracer 42 and the main shaft head 20 is synchronized in reverse direction each other, the work to be worked is worked into a female type. With this, even if a model is either one of the female and male, both male and female works can be machined.
