Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a cord and a long fiber in fine particles such as cereals to be removed and enable dust removing to be performed perfectly by superposing brush parts and providing plural rotary brushes which are revolving mutually reversely.
CONSTITUTION: While unpolished rice 1, which is fine particles falling from the feed port 2a of a hopper 2, is blowing down on an electrostatic roller 3, dusts are attracted on the roller 3 and are removed. Thence, the unpolished rice 1 fall between the rotary brushes A, A' in a dust removing device 4, and at this time, the dusts such as cords and long fibers in the unpolished rice are nabbed and removed by the brush parts of the rotary brushes A, A' and these dusts are discharged outward by the rotary brush B or B'. Further, the unpolished rice 1 falls onto a sieve 5 which is reciprocatively turning. Sand and small stone are shaken down through the sieve holes 6 on the upper stream and the unpolished rice from the sieve holes 7 on the lower stream. The middle dusts are discharged from the bottom end.
