Abstract

1451303 Vibratory mills; screening apparatus GENERAL KINEMATICS CORP 28 April 1975 [15 July 1974] 17539/75 Headings B2A and B2H [Also in Division B3] A housing 10, vibrated by rotary means 21, 22, 26 and supported by springs 28 on members 29, is fed at 37 with sand lumps and other mould material which are broken up within the housing and the free particulate sand is delivered from an exit 16 onto a screen 31 within a chamber 32 whereby the screened particles are received on a floor 33 and delivered to a receptacle. Larger material is moved to the end of the chamber 32 where further abrading takes place before oversize material is delivered to a separate outlet. Dust is removed via a suction pipe 36. Large material collected in the bottom of the housing is removed from the inlet 37 by stopping one of the means 21 or 22 and operating means 26.
