Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for admixing and ejecting a ground improving agent to the ground at the bottom of lake or sea on which sludge or filthy mud is accumulated, capable of improving the soft ground continuously while travelling on the ground, by ejecting a soil improving agent from two turning shafts disposed in parallel with each other and having respectively agitating blades which are rotated in opposite directions to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A soil improving agent admixing apparatus of this invention comprises two turning shafts 3 disposed in parallel with each other and having agitating blades 2 extended lengthwise of admixing pipe 1 having openings 4, 4, and four soil improving agent ejecting ports 5 are formed at the positions of each shaft 3 where agitating blades 2 are fixed. In improving the soil or ground, said admixing pipe 1 is driven from work ship (not shown) into sludge covered soil and soil improving agent is ejected from ports 5 into pipe 1 while turning the shafts 3 in opposite directions. Sludge is drawn into pipe 1 from one opening 4 and discharged from the other opening 4 after being admixed with soil improving agent. By the reaction force produced in discharging the sludge, pipe 1 is moved together with work ship in a body.
