Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a shared driving with no mutual effect given to the individual side of an optidal sensor and the picture signal side of a heat-sensitive head, by securing a common connection for driving between the above-mentioned individual side of the optical sensor where the photoelectric transducers are arranged in a line and the picture signal side of the heat-sensitive head where the heat generating elements are arranged in a 1-dimensional way. CONSTITUTION:The 32-bit stray shift register 3 is actuated by the output (f) of the monomulti 2, the output (e) of the divider 1 plus the picture signal input to produce the signals (g), (h) and (i) at the outputs (n), (o) and (p) each. In the heat-sensitive recording mode, each signal is delivered in parallel and in a held state for time tau with every time the 32 bits of picture signal are put into the register 3 by the signal (f). The selection switch 5 is turned to the side of division period 1 when the optical sensor signal is extracted, and the register 3 produces the shift pulses at the outputs (n), (o) and so on. In the heat-sensitive recording mode, the 24-bit analog switches 8 are all opened to actuate the transistor array 11. The switch 8 works when the optical sensor signal is extracted, and thus the detouring current of the heat generating element and the printing are prevented for the heat-sensitive head by the reverse current preventing diode 10.
