Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform measurement of a high signal-to-noise ratio and high accuracy by making the stereoscopic visual angles of scattered light variable in correspondence to items in the measurement of antigen antibody reaction using laser oscillated light. CONSTITUTION:The laser oscillated light T oscillated from a laser 1 is allowed to impinge perpendicularly to a sample cell 9. Of the scattered light emitting from the cell 9, only the scattered light (light of a ring shape of DELTAtheta) from stereoscopic visual angles alpha up to beta is detected by moving slit plates 11, 12 for determination of the visual angles of scattered light. The scattered light of the visual angles limited by said slit plates 11, 12 is entered a photodetector 16, by which it is photoelectrically converted. When the nonscattering light reflected on a reflection mirror 10 deviates from a reflection mirror 17, this is detected with a photodetector 19, which in turn emits a signal to an alarm 19A. Thereby, the abnormality in the positioning of the sample cell as well as the presence or absence of any flaw or dust in the treansmission part of irradiated light of the sample cell are detected.
