Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a secure flame current detection by the use of a flame holder incorporated within a burner body and to facilitate the assembling of the burner by incorporating the flame holder and flame rod simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The flame holder 21 is arranged within the burner body and supported in an electrically insulated condition from the burner body. The flame rod 23 is arranged with a space from the flame holder 21. The flame holder 21 and the burner body are both connected to a flame current detecting circuit. With such a construction, the flame current can be detected continuously and securely without being influenced by the movement of the flame accompanying the setting operation. Further, the flame holder 21 and flame rod 23 are preliminarily coupled in a unit so as to be incorporated disengageably within the burner body through studs 13a projecting from a flange of the burner body. Accordingly, the assembling of the burner is much simplified.
