Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve position detecting accuracy by specifying the construction of an inductive radio transmission line and an antenna. CONSTITUTION:Conductors 1-3 are spirally wound on a columnar surface 5 with deviation of every 1/3 of winding pitch P at the same and constant pitch to constitute an inductive radio transmission line 4, and the length l of a moving body mounting antenna 6 is kept at 1/2 or integer times the winding pitch P of said line 4. Then, at the time of detecting the position of the moving body by utilizing the phase difference between the positive phase voltage and reverse-phase voltage of the signal from the antenna 6 received by the 3-phase 3-conductor inductive radio transmission line 4 laid along the traveling path of the moving body, the higher harmonic components of the order of integer time of 3 and the higher harmonic components of even order are removed, and the distortions of the coupling distribution wavefrom are decreased to improve the position detection accuracy.
