Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize a high-accuracy and high-resolution control for running by measuring time of the cross distance between induction wires at the moving object side and thus detecting the position and stoppage of the moving object in order to decide the stop position of the object.
CONSTITUTION: Cross-type parallel double induction wire 1 of the specific pattern is laid along the running path and at the prescribed section of the stop position of the moving object, and antenna 3 and 4 connecting to wire 1 are installed at the side of moving object 5 with distance L3 between them. Thus the coupling transmission is carried out for the signal wave. And the signal wave induced at antenna 4 is amplified with amplitude limitation 7 to have phase discrimination 8 to the input given from receiver 6. Then this discrimination output counts 12 the cross part number until stoppage with the control at the count starting point, and also the output control at the stop position is decided and delivered 14 by time measurement of the cross interval to deliver the position of the stop time based on the count value of the cross part number and in the form of the phase information. In this way, the stop position is decided, thus ensuring a high-accuracy and high-resolution running control.
