Abstract
PURPOSE: To secure a quick and high-accuracy input of the information to the running control unit by measuring the cross distance between the induction wires with reception of plural transmission waves from the ground fixed station and thus obtaining the stop position information.
CONSTITUTION: The following component elements are provided: parallel double induction wire 2; cross-type parallel double induction wire 1; ground fixed transmitter 6 to transmit frequency f2 featuring a fixed relation with phase deviation modulated frequency f1; antenna 7 of the moving object; and stop position detector 8 each. Detector 8 discriminates the phase difference between f2 and the reference wave obtained by multiplying the difference frequency between f1 and f2. And the time is meausred with every cross interval of wire 1, and the length is decided for the cross interval. When an agreement is obtained between the decision output and the code for the stop starting point, the discrimination output is counted and to measure the cross part number of the position detection code section. Thus the stop position information is delivered based on the relationship between the both measurement value. In this way, the stop position information is obtained to ensure a quick and high-accuracy input of the information into the running control unit.
