Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform decoding by a simple circuit by D/A-converting step size, corresponding to a delta modulation code, and then by integrating this analog signal by a switched capacitor filter. CONSTITUTION:A delta modulation code obtained from comparator 12 is supplied to logical operating circuit 15, which outputs step size. This step size is converted by D/A converter 17 into an analog signal, which is integrated by switched capacitor filter 22. As a result, only this step size is enough for the dynamic range of D/A converter 17, which can be composed of a small number of bits. The output of switched capacitor filter 22 is used as outputs of a local decoder and decoder, so that the hardware can be reduced.
