Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In a pressure dehydration area, pressure dehydration lower rolls 4 are provided to the bearing supporting bases 19 of the same height on a lower frame 18, so that a lower filter cloth 8 is set horizontally flush. These rolls are provided to the bearing supporting bases 21 of different heights with suitably changed spacer thicknesses of an upper frame 20, and are segmented to zones aWc. The wedge angles θ13 that the upper filter cloth 7 assumes are set at θ123. Therefore, moisture is removed in a large volume in the initial period and gradually in the end period, whereby the rate of filtration is increased and the moisture of discharged cake decreased.
