PURPOSE: To provide a biological filtering apparatus, in which an upwardly diverging conical portion is provided at the top of a biological filtering tower, and reverse clarification water is introduced from a downward portion of the tower and discharged from an upper portion of the conical section, whereby volume of the reverse clarification water and time required for reverse clarification can be reduced, and at the same time, steady performance can be obtained.
