Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the generation of the abnormal voltage in a field winding in switching an exciting power supply from an in-house AC power source to an output AC power source, by locking an igniting signal to each control rectifying element of an exciting rectifier, and actuating a paired igniting circuit for a specific phase. CONSTITUTION:In the case the voltage of a generator 1 is established, the in-house AC power source 4 is applied to a thyristor rectifier 6. When the voltage of the generator 1 becomes a specified voltage, the thyristor igniting pulse signal of a voltage regulator 7 is locked, and a paired U-shaped igniting circuit 11 is operated. The paired U-shaped igniting circuit 11 gives the igniting pulse signal to the thyristor which is connected to the positive side or negative side of the DC of the U phase when the potential of the U phase is higher or lower than the potentials of any other phases. After the paired U-shaped igniting circuit 11 has been actuated, breakers 3 are opened and breakers 12 are closed. Thereafter, the igniting pulse signal is unlocked.
