Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid the inclusion of higher harmonic voltages caused by parasitic oscillations and the like in a base winding by relatively closely coupling the base winding to the winding on the side where a resonating capacitor is provided and by relatively loosely coupling to the other winding. CONSTITUTION:An inverter transformer 5 is provided in the resonant type self- exciting transistor inverter. The base winding 8 of the transformer 5 is relatively closely coupled to the winding, where the resonating capacitor 9 is provided, of an input winding 6 and an output winding 7, and relatively loosely coupled to the other winding. Since the voltage of the fundamental wave which includes almost no harmonic waves as the output voltage of the base winding is obtained, the transistor can be switched depending on the voltage of the fundamental wave without fails, and the abnormal oscillation can be prevented.
