PURPOSE:To form a reactance equalizing armature winding having improved insulating withstand voltage and high reliability with a difficulty of occurring fatigue breakdown of a bent coil side part by supporting the bent part of the armature winding by an insulating terminal plate having a suitable elasticity and protecting it. CONSTITUTION:A rotor iron core forming an armature 20 is divided axially through a gap l into two armature iron cores 26, 18. An insulating terminal plate 30 formed of insulating paper or universal electric insulator having suitable elasticity is mounted on the end faces confronting each other of the iron cores 16, 18, and a spacer 32 having a predetermined thickness is inserted between the plates 30. Thus, the bent part of the coil side can be slidably contacted with the insulating terminal plate, and accordingly it can prevent the concentration of the stress at the bent part.
