Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the module with uniform permeability and excellent osmotic property by a method wherein plural gathered monofilaments are wound as a flat filament bundle and a cross part of spiral traverse is formed so as to be successively moved on a circumference at a definite position of a longitudinal winding direction.
CONSTITUTION: The hollow yarn type reverse osmosis module is constituted by a method wherein plural hollow fibers 5 are arranged on an outer periphery of a perforated flow cylinder 8 and hollow parts of said hollow fibers 5 of one side ends thereof are opened to separate the opened side thereof so as to introduce raw water from an inner side of the flow cylinder or from an outer peripheral side of the arranged system layer and to take out product water from the opened part of said hollow fibers 5. Said hollow fiber is constituted by bundling plural monofilament yarns in a flat shape and wound around said flow cylinder 8 at a spiral angle to an axis thereof in a range of 5W60° and the fiber bundle is arranged so as to be made adjacent in parallel to the fiber bundle wound immediately before in a same direction or to overlap side edge part thereof mutually. Said fiber bundle is piled up with a reverse spiral bundle mutually to form the cross part and said cross part is formed so as to successively moved on the same periphery at the definite position of the wound flow cylinder 8.
