Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a drive mechanism to reduce the operational power of a car air-conditioner by arranging a distribution door to a defroster blow- off port in the upper stream and that to blow-off ports to a ventilator and a heater in the down stream and operating these two doors in linkage by a drive mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A heater unit H is constructed of a temperature-regulating casing 22 and an air-distributing casing 24 with a passage 3 to pass the air of a proper temperature prepared in an air-mix chamber 24 in the casing 22. On the above- written passage 3, a defroster blow-off port 4, a ventilator blow-off port 5, and a heater blow-off port 6 are opened from the upper stream. Besides, a distribution door 8 between two blow-off ports 4 and 5 and a distribution door 7 between two blow-off ports 5 and 6 are respectively provided to be operated in linkage by a drive mechanism D. In this construction, for example, when a mode-selection lever is set at a face-mode position, the distribution door 7 closes the side of the heater blow- off port 6, and the distribution door 8 closes that of the defroster blow-off port 4.
