Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce extremely the start/stop frequency of a pump and thus increase the storing effect of a storing tank, by giving a start/stop or speed reduction to the pump installed to the specified drainage route so as to secure a convergence to a specified water level.
CONSTITUTION: The drainage routes 1W3 are installed in parallel to the water storing tank 4. These drainage routes contain the pumping pipes 1aW3a with their lower ends opened in the tank 4 and the upper ends connected to the common water pipe 5. When the water level of the tank 4 is lower than the lower limit value 1' the pumps 1pW3p of the routes 1W3 have no working. Then the pump 1p of the route 1 starts working when the water level of the tank 4 increase up to the upper limit value h1. Thus the water in the tank 4 is exhausted. Then the motor 2m of the pump 2p on the route 2 is also driven to be then stopped with a reduction of speed when the water increasing speed of the tank 4 exceeds the exhaustion capacity of the route 1 in spite of the full-speed rotation of the pump 1 and then the water level 6 increases up to the upper limit h2. As a result, the start/stop frequency of the pump can be reduced greatly to increase the storing effect of the tank 4.
