Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily adjust delay time by providing three adjacent network-type electrodes which are vertical to an electron travel passage on it and connecting a power supply with fixed voltage to both the electrode on which electrons are incident and that from which they are emitted in these network-type electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectron which receives the emission of a scintillator and is emitted from a photoelectric cathode 2 is focussed by a focussing electrode 3 and is vertically incident on a network-type electrode 4. The photoelectron which passes through a network-type electrode 6 is multiplied by the first stage di-node 70, the second di-done 71... and is collected by an electron collection electrode 81. By applying fixed potential to the network-type electrodes 4 and 6 and adjusting the potential which is applied to the network-type electrode 5, delay time can be adjusted.
