Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate a controller by the little valve opening force of a control valve even when the valve closing force of a return spring for closing the control valve is set at large value by a method wherein a cam and a follower of a lost motion mechanism between a throttle valve and the control valve are contacted only when the throttle valve is opened at value larger than expected.
CONSTITUTION: When a throttle valve 11 is opened against the valve opening force of the first return spring 15, a cam 11c and pin 12c contact, and the cam 11c opens a control valve against the second return spring 16. Since an arm 12b with the pin 12c is largely inclined to the cam 11c side at that time, the pin 12c contacts with a root section of the cam 11c, and deceleration drive is caused, thus lightly opening the control valve 12 regardless of the existance of the second reture spring. Consequently, operation force may be increased slightly even when the valve closing force of the second return spring 16 is born on way of opening the throttle valve 11.
