Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a position control method with small relative position deviation even in interlocking operation which requires sudden deceleration, by adjusting one current reference limit value according to the relative position deviation between two position control systems and its polarity.
CONSTITUTION: Position control standards 11 and 31 of the 1st and 2nd position control systems are compared 13 and 33 with position feedback signals respectively to obtain speed standards, which are also compared 18 and 38 with speed feedback signals to obtain current standards; and the current standards are compared 22 and 42 with current feedback signals to find their deviations, according to which speeds of electric motors 25 and 45 are adjusted to exercise position control. If there is a difference in friction torque between motors 25 and 45 right after actuation, a relative position deviation between both the systems is generated and calculated by comparator 51 to detect its polarity by polarity discriminator 53, and according to the polarity, switches S1 and S2 or S4 and S5 are controlled to adjust the limit value of current standard limiter 26 or 46. Thus, the relative position deviation between motors of both the systems can rapidly be reduced.
