Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate continuous extrusion of a product of a which sectional area is larger than that of a material to be fed, by forming a hollow space to receive the material to be fed between the outer surfaces of a couple of rolls, and by blocking up the extruding side of this hollow space with a die.

Hereby, the material 4 causes a plastic deformation and fills up the gathering chamber 9 prossessing a sectional area equal to or larger than the sectional area of the fed material 4; herby, the contact area between the material 4 and rolls 1, 3, increases and a large extrusion pressure is generated. Then, the product possessing a sectional area equal to or larger than the sectional area of the fed material 4 is extruded from the die 8 set in the stationary die block 7.
