Abstract
PURPOSE:To control automatically the air cooling, air warming and ventilation by the air conditioner to be optimum according to the desire of the passengers in the automobile such as a bus which is provided with an air conditioning duct system, an air cooling and warming system and a ventilation system with a ventilation blower. CONSTITUTION:The automatic air conditioner includes the first switch 22 with a return mechanisms to start the air conditioner and the second switch 25 to selectively change over the respective mode of air cooling, air warming and ventilation. The air conditioner further includes a relay 26 to be turned on when an engine is in operation, an engine speed sensor 28, a thermistor 31 for detecting the temperature in a passenger compartment, a thermo-volume 35 for arbitrarily setting a reference detection temperature in the passenger compartment, and another thermistor 38 for detecting the temperature of an engine coolant. The first switch 22 and relay 26 constitute the first circuit FC which actuates the air cooling system C, air warming system W and ventilation system F. The second circuit SC is also constituted to automatically control the respective air conditioning elements according to the change-over mode of the second switch 25.
