Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the light quantity loss, by providing an air reverse lens in the transparent material and by fixing the light transmission cable to the transparent material into one body so that the input end face of the optical fiber may be positioned near the focus of this lens. CONSTITUTION:A transparent material which is superior in transmittance of light and heat and has a low absoptivity such as acrylic acid resin and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is used to form condensing head part 1. This condensing head part is a plate material and has space (air lens) 2 scooped out into a concave lens form. Light transmission cable 4 is fixed to condensing head part 1 into one body so that the input end face of the optical fiber may face just the condensed light in the position of focus F in condensing head part 1 or near it, desirably, just before focus F. Thus, since the condensing path is in the optical system forming material, the light quantity loss of the condensing head part can be reduced in comparison with the optical system consisting of the ordinary lens, the reflective mirror, and so on.
