CONSTITUTION:When the external control switch is ON, X, Y bias from the continuously variable bias means 8 are blocked, and the bias signal from the X, Y direction DC bias circuits 9, 10 is processed. When the storobe signal is at a low level, the polarity of X direction bias is negative and it is fed to the display 1 via the multiplexer B5 and the display picture 2A is positioned at the constant position of the film 3. When the bias change signal is at a low level, the positive X direction bias signal is fed to the display 1, and the display picture 2B is determined at the constant position of the film 3. When the external control switch is at OFF, the display position of the picture is controlled with the bias of the bias means 8. In case of transversal scanning, picture is made similarly with the operation of the multiplexer B5.
