Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance flow-controlling effect by a method wherein a throttle part is provided at the lateral side of a throttle body in a delivery passage which is oppositely located at the side facing to the rotating direction of a rotor and a spool valve provided between an introducing passage and a suction passage is controlled by the pressure difference across the throttle part.
CONSTITUTION: The throttle body 42 is placed in the delivery passage 38, and the throttle part 45 is provided at the lateral side of the throttle body 42 opposite to the side facing to the rotating direction of the rotor. The spool valve 36 for regulating the opening of a communication passage between the introducing hole 37 and a suction passage 39 is placed in a valve-containing hole 36, and one end 47 of the valve 36 is communicated with the introducing hole 37 while the other end 48 is communicated with the downstream side of the throttle part 45. Accordingly, the amount of pressure fluid flowing into the throttle part 45 decreases in accordance with the increasing flow rate of fluid being discharged into a pressure chamber 20 and the increase in flow rate to accompany with an increase of rotational frequency of the pump is suppressed, so that the flow rate can be controlled at a constant valve with respect to the rotation number of the pump and the flow-controlling effect can be enhanced.
