Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to supply an optimal amount of fuel to suit the operational condition of an engine, by detecting a signal corresponding to the quantity of intake air, and determining a factor for compensating the increment of fuel injetion rate from the changing rate of said signal in case that the signal is changed in a direction decreasing the quantity of intake air.
CONSTITUTION: In a control circuit 5 for calculating the quantity of intake fuel injection, wave forms of voltage applied to an ignition coil, impressed at a terminal 50, are shaped at 51, and it is frequency divided at 52 by a frequency dividing ratio related to the frequency of fuel injection per one rotation of an engine and converted into a pulse signal T0. In an arithmetic circuit 53, fuel injection rate is calculated from the signal T0 and an output voltage Vs of a means 4 for detecting the quantity of intake air, and a pulse signal T1 proportional to the quantity of intake air is produced. This signal T1 is corrected in a multiplying circuit 54 by a signal related to engine parameters and given as a pulse signal T3 to an OR circuit 56 via voltage compensating circuit 55. In the OR circuit 56, durations of pulse signals T1, T3 are added, and for this while, solenoid valves 6 are controlled via an output circuit 57.
