Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to facilitate discharging of chips and improve a working speed as well as to obtain an accuracy in a sectional configuration of a work by a method wherein staying of working liquid is reduced by a relative movement between a wire electrode and the work by means of a vibrating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The work 20 is supported on a working table surface plate 18 through the vibrating mechanisms 32 which are constituted with the mechanisms vibrating the work 20 with a predetermined amplitude into a direction parallel to the moving direction of the wire electrode 10 in a part in which the wire electrode is passing through the work 20. By the vibration of the work 20, a working width of a groove in the working section of the work 20 becomes constant and flow of working liquid 28 is improved, therefore, accumulation of the chip powder is dissipated because of the improvement of the discharging of the chips, while the accuracy in the configuration of the working groove is improved, further, indirect sparks due to the chip powder are reduced and the working speed may be made quicker.
