Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily and economically perform controlling of the number of the units being operated of the refrigerators for dehumidifying of air for blasting into blast furnaces or the like by measuring the wet-bulb temperature of the gas to be dehumidified before entering dehumidifiers and controlling the operating and stopping of each refrigerator depending upon this wet-bulb temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The wet-bulb temperature of the gas to be dehumidified before entering the plural dehumidifiers of a dehumidifying apparatus for blasting to blast furnaces or the like is measured, and the operting and controlling of each refrigerator are accomplished according to this temperature. For example, the wet- bulb temperature at the inlet point A of a dehumidifier 1 is detected by a wet-bulb temperature detector 14, and based on this detected signal the wet-bulb temperature at the inlet of the dehumidifier is operated by a wet-bulb temperature detection controlling unit 15. According to this wet-bulb temperature, the respective driving motors 5'W8' of respective water-cooled refrigerators 5W7 and a brine refrigerator 8 are selectively driven and stopped. If the wet-bulb conditions under which the respective refrigerators are operated and stopped are beforehand set, the controlling of the operating and stopping of the refrigerators becomes easy.
